Admissions
 

Requirements for applicants:

For students to be admitted to HPU, one of the following options must be fulfilled
Option 1: Student must have a high school degree of Syrian Baccalaureate (or equivalent) with an average above 65% for admission to Pharmacy School or 55% for admission to Cosmetics School

Option 2: Student must have a degree from an Intermediate Institute for Pharmacy or Healthcare studies

Option 3: Student transfers from another university (Science Major). In this case, up to 30% of total credits required for graduation at HPU can be transferred from previous university. Please keep in mind that a minimum of 70% of credits must be acquired at HPU.



Required documents for admission:

2 certified copies of the high school (Baccalaureate) degree or equivalent
6 passport photos
1 copy of personal ID or passport
1 copy of relevant certification (if available)
1 copy of language certification (if available)
! copy of computer certification (if available)

For International Students:
The following documents are needed for students with non-Syrian degrees
The original high school degree certified by the Syrian Ministry for Foreign Affairs including a detailed listing of subjects and grades.

In case the student has acquired an international high school degree (ex- IGCSE, IB) in an Arab country then the student must also present a certification from the Ministry of Education of that country verifying the validity and equivalence of that International degree to the national one.

Please note that admission of international students with non-Syrian degrees is subject to the approval of the Syrian Ministry of Education.
